EMC considered its annual user conference the most important event of the year—a showcase of prognostications and products and the launch pad for the year’s promotions. My team and I worked for months prior to the show to develop concepts based on the company’s strategies, and then turned the winner into a concerted campaign from ad banners and invitations to web pages, videos, stage sets, airport signage, and more.
